Hi, I’m Dr. Patricia!
Fascinated by the intersection of nature, community, and health, I embarked on a journey into the world of naturopathic medicine. My personal struggle with insomnia led me to discover a whole new toolbox of solutions that not only helped me overcome my own challenges but also fuelled my passion for helping others repair and rebalance their bodies.
During my time in naturopathic medical school, my clinical experiences highlighted gaps in our healthcare system, particularly for the older population. This revelation prompted a shift from my original focus on pediatrics to a dedicated commitment to geriatrics.
Born and raised in Metro Vancouver, I was fortunate to grow up with active grandparents who, later in life, faced challenges with dementia and cognitive decline. This personal connection fuelled my interest in memory and brain health, where I discovered that preventive care knows no age limits.
As a naturopathic doctor, my practice is geared towards brain health, chronic pain, hormonal balancing, digestive and metabolic health. I believe that maximizing quality of life starts with active listening, compassion, and education.
Outside the clinic, you’ll catch me staying active outdoors, indulging in yoga sessions, exploring arts and crafts, or whipping up new recipes in the kitchen.

From a young age, I had a strong desire to pursue a career in physiotherapy, driven by my interest in human movement and my own active lifestyle as a dancer. Recognizing the importance of physical literacy for overall health, I completed a double major in Kinesiology and Dance at York University before obtaining a Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in Australia. Although I was born and raised in Tsawwassen, I now call North Vancouver home – balancing work, life, and a healthy dose of play.
During my academic journey, I stumbled upon a true passion: helping children and infants with various abilities thrive. Whether it’s celebrating the tiniest tots taking their first steps or supporting young champions facing complex challenges, witnessing their incredible progress fills me with joy. Guided by a client-centered philosophy, I thrive on collaborating with families and their children to set personalized goals.
After several years of supporting families with their little ones all over Metro-Vancouver, I noticed a gap in services within Delta. That’s when I decided to open my own practice, aiming to provide much-needed support to local families. Partnering with my sister in her clinic has long been a dream of mine, and I couldn’t be more excited to join the talented team at Waves Health Collective.
Outside of my clinical hours, you’ll find me lending a helping hand to aspiring physiotherapists at the University of British Columbia’s Physical Therapy Program. Whether it’s delving into pediatric theory or honing practical handling and treatment skills, I’m all about empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals. Teaching isn’t just a passion of mine – it’s a way of life, whether I’m in a classroom, clinic, or even right at home. This same dedication spills over into my role with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Pediatric Division, where I’m proud to contribute to the growth of national expertise in pediatric care. What can I say? I thrive on the energy of a bustling schedule!
In my downtime, you can find me hiking the local mountains, cherishing quality time with loved ones, and indulging in some quality snuggle sessions with my cats!

I believe that in order to achieve optimal health you must treat the root cause of disease, and you have to treat the whole person. We are incredibly complex and unique beings that can’t be reduced to a mere symptom to be solved by a pill. So much of our health depends on not only our physical body, but also our mental and emotional states. In creating a patient- centred approach to healthcare, naturopathic medicine helps to restore balance. I find myself continuously more curious and excited about the power of this profession.
I treat all ages and genders, but do have special interests in a number of areas including autoimmune conditions, digestive disorders, sports medicine, women’s and children’s health.
